Peter F. Orleski

Peter F. Orleski passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. He was 63 years of age. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Peter was the loving son of Margaret (Malacheski) Orleski and the late Peter P. Orleski. He was a lifetime resident of Falls Township and a 1969 graduate of Pennsbury High School. Peter attended Bucks County Community College and Millersville University. Peter was a carpenter with Bucks County Local 1462. He worked for Bigelow Brothers LLC until his retirement in 2010. After retirement, Peter enjoyed many peaceful days on the lake fishing at the Penn Warner Club. He was a long time member of Hope Lutheran Church. Peter bowled with the Bucks County Church League for over 20 years and notably rolled two perfect games. Above all, Peter put his family first. His work ethic and many sacrifices were an example of his love for them. Whether serving as a handyman, watching and enjoying his grandchildren, making everyone laugh or sharing his wisdom, he was a role model for all. Peter was the beloved husband of Jacalyn A. (Hawkins) of 40 years, loving father of Jeffrey and his wife, Michelle of Langhorne, Glenn and his wife Kristi of Flourtown and Douglas and his wife Johanna of Richmond, VA. He was the devoted grandfather of Gregory, Olivia, Samantha, Claire, Annabelle and Evelyn. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Bette Stephey, sister-in-law Barbara Hawkins and brothers-in-law, Dave Talley, Tim Hawkins and Carl Trainor. He will also be greatly missed by his entire extended family. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. ln lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peter's name may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th Street and Civic Center Blvd., Development Office, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
