

It is with great sadness the family of Phillip J. Bourke announces his passing on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at the age of 73. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Priscilla M. Bourke, and his five children Dawn C. Groff (Michael), Denise C. Ryan (Michael), Tami C. Shamlian (William), Phyllis S. Schuck (Ryan), and Phillip J. Bourke; grandchildren Forrest M. Groff, Abigail C. Groff, Elizabeth E. (Jocelyn) Jany, Blake C. Graham, Colin P. Schuck, Evan J. Schuck, and Oliver T. Schuck.
Phil will also be missed by his siblings, Robert "Skip" Bourke, Claudia Bourke, and Barbara Bourke-Engle, along with many nieces and nephews. He will continue to be loved and remembered fondly by everyone he met as he was a friendly soul with a big smile and a hug for all.
Phil served in the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Steel Fairless Works Mill. In his spare time he enjoyed helping friends with his abilities as a skilled carpenter. Phil especially loved riding his motorcycle on which he put many miles with his late brother Steven and friends.
Visitation will occur on Thursday, March 11th, 2021, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, located at 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Visitors are welcome to pay their respects beginning at 11 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1 PM, with interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery with military honors.
