
Raymond G. Coia Raymond G. Coia died on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 90. Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Levittown for 50 years. Mr. Coia was a maintenance mechanic for C.V. Hill Refrigeration, Trenton, NJ for over 25 years. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II (1939-1945) and was engaged in the battles and campaigns at Guadalcanal, Northern Solomons, Central Europe and the Fiji Islands with the Americal Division. He was awarded the American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Coia enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. Beloved husband of the late Anna May, Mr. Coia is survived by his daughters, Lorraine Staats and Dorothy Coia both of Levittown; his grandchildren, Sherry Chambers (Bob) of Bristol, Kathy Korbach (Bill) of Port Richey, FL and Roseann Enwright (Chris) of Warminster. He will also be sadly missed by his great granddaughter, Samantha Bollinger; his great great grandchildren, Francis and Savannah and his former daughter-in-law, Alice Netzer. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
