Richard J. AdamsRichard J. "Rick" Adams died on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 77.Born in Swoyersville, PA, Mr. Adams was a longtime resident of Levittown and was the current Council President of Tullytown Borough.Mr. Adams was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Levittown, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a Metallurgist with US Steel Fairless Works for 38 years.Mr. Adams proudly served in the US Marine Corps as an MP.He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and shooting pool and darts. However, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.Beloved husband of 57 years to Barbara Jean (Banks), Mr. Adams was the loving father of Sandra Adams Flesch (Erwin) and Rick Adams (fiancee, Kelly).He was the devoted grandfather of RJ and Tanner Adams and brother of Catherine Tigue (John) and the late Julianna Dubinski. Mr. Adams will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 8:45 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
