

Richard was born on September 9, 1943 to Pasquale and Mary Goglia in Reno, Nevada, and later moved to Pennsylvania. He graduated from Bishop Egan Catholic High School, class of 1961.
In 1967, Richard married Ellen Swenson in Levittown, PA. Richard and Ellen went on to have two sons Joseph and Steven Goglia.
With great success and family support, he went on to open Oxford Valley Bicycle Shop in Fairless Hills, PA, which he successfully ran from the early 1970’s and into the 1980’s.
Some of his favorite activities were working on cars, going to drag races, and going to the annual Philadelphia Auto Show. He enjoyed watching movies and had a passion for Siberian Huskies. He also enjoyed food, particularly the pizza shops in Levittown, PA.
Richard had a unique and memorable personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was close with his family, was loved dearly by his children and adored his niece, nephew, grand nieces and nephews. Although his passing leaves a void in our lives, the love and laughter he shared with us will forever be remembered.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Mary Goglia. He is survived by his son, Joseph Goglia and wife, Tracy; son, Steven Goglia and wife, Amia; his grandchildren, Brianna, Dylan, James and Arianna; his sister; a niece, Jacqueline Buzby; a nephew, Michael Perri and wife Kimberly; and a host of grand and great nieces and nephews.
