Born in Philadelphia, the son of Regina (Mayer) and John McLaughlin, Richard has been a resident of Levittown since 1973.
He was an avid sportsman and was a member of the Holmesburg Fish and Game Club for 20 years, and the Falls Gun Club. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting in Wyoming and Pennsylvania.
Mr. McLaughlin was employed as a Machinist with Penn Walt in Warminster and was a highly skilled handyman.
He had a passion for British Motorcycles.
Beloved husband of the late Alyce, Mr. McLaughlin is the loving father of Michael (Tracy), Joseph T. (Jeanette) and Brian (Kerri).
He is the devoted grandfather of Jeannette, Kathleen, Tayler, Haley, Fionn, Alyssa and Elin.
Mr. McLaughlin will also be sadly missed by his great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Staci.
Services and interment will be held privately.
