Richard J. Schmidt Richard J. Schmidt died on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Briarleaf Nursing Home in Doylestown. He was 55. Born in Philadelphia, the son of Virginia (Dannell) Schmidt and the late Henry A. Schmidt, Richard was a resident of Middletown Township and was a 1977 graduate of Neshaminy Maple Point High School. He was a former resident of Bradley Beach for 20 years. He spent most of his working career as a pressman, most recently with Shorewood Packaging in Edison, NJ, and formerly with Scan Forms in Bristol Township. Richard enjoyed golfing. Along with his mother, Virginia, Richard is survived by two brothers, Henry A. Jr. (Vivian) of Levittown and John T. (Michele Hepler) of Yardley. He will also be sadly missed by his 6 nieces and nephews, Mike, Kristen, Mandy, Allanah, Van Allen, and Von Henry. Family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service, Wednesday, 11:00 at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
