

Robert Lee Davis Robert Lee Davis of Yardley, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born in Butler, PA on January 7th, 1938 to Georgie Mae Davis (nee Gibson) and Walter L. Davis. He graduated from Butler High School in 1955. He was married to Marilyn A. Davis (nee Higgins) on August 29th, 1959. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy and served as a Torpedoman Second Class on the USS Piedmont AD-17. A 52 year resident of Bucks County, he worked for General Electric and the Lockheed Martin Corporation for over 30 years and later for IMS Healthcare. Bob volunteered much of his time and experience working with the Elfun Volunteer Group and as Church Council President of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairless Hills, PA. Bob was an avid angler and outdoorsman. He was a founding member of the Penns Creek Anglers Society. One of Bob's greatest loves was Boy Scouts, serving as Scoutmaster of Troop 90 in Fairless Hills, PA for 13 years and volunteering with Troop 30 of Yardley, PA for another 10 years. He loved camping and going "over the hill". He is survived by his wife Marilyn, and brothers James and Walter Lawrence. He is also survived by his three sons Jeffrey, Brian and Kerry, as well as, 2 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, January 18th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. A memorial service will be celebrated at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1700 Makefield Road, Yardley on Saturday, January 19th at 2:00 pm.
