Robert Gonzalez Robert Gonzalez passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Jersey Shore Memorial Center in Neptune, NJ. He was 50. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on January 21, 1962, the son of Miguel P. Gonzalez and Victorina (Penas) Gonzalez, Robert came to the United States at the age of 8 and settled in Trenton. He was a long time Levittown resident and was formerly of Palm Bay, Florida. He has been a resident of Bayville, NJ for the past 6 months. Robert was a master automobile technician and was currently employed at Shark River Auto in Wall, NJ. He also spent 20 plus years of his working career at J. Rogala's Auto Body. Robert's favorite place to be was on the water. He enjoyed boating and fishing. His most cherished moments were spent with his loving wife, children and all of his grandkids. Beloved husband of Donna M. (Addesa), Robert is the loving father of Robert M. Gonzalez and his wife Amber and Dayna Cranman and her husband, John. He was the devoted grandfather of Paige, Madison and Robbie Gonzalez and his two bonus granddaughters, Sanai and Sierra Cranman, and the brother of Richard Gonzalez . He will also be sadly missed by his beloved dog, Stuart. Family and friends are invited to join us on Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, as we come together to pay tribute to an amazing man and celebrate his life. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, PO Box 95, Mendham, NJ 07945-0095.
