

Robert S. MenhartRobert S. Menhart went to his eternal home in heaven on Monday, May 9, 2016, at the age of 84, while residing at Southampton Estates. He was born in Duquesne, PA, moved to Levittown in 1959 where he lived until November, 2015.Following his service in the US Army during the Korean War, Bob worked as a Crane Operator at Fairless Works in the Open Hearth; was a Eucharistic Minister; made rosaries for prison and church ministries; square danced; "clowned" around with Spiffy's Gang; was a former officer of PNA Lodge 3131; loved attending Bible Study at his son-in-law's; and was a member of Queen of the Universe ParishHe will be deeply missed by his children, Debbie (Rich) Chychota, Dianne (Bill) Ricker, Linda Giniewski, Bob (Julie) Menhart, and Rose (Matt) Piacentino; stepdaughter Gail (Dante) DeFeo; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his dear friend and companion of 6 years, Doris Rohr, and many dear family and friends.He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Julia Menhart, his siblings, Andy, Margaret Peclet, James, Bill, Ernie, and Elmer; his first wife and mother of his children, Dolores; his second wife, June; and his stepdaughter, Nancy Moldovan.Bob wished to acknowledge the 2 "angels" Dianne and Linda, for their faithful and loving care to the end.Friends may call Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. A viewing will be held at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown on Monday, May 16, 2016, from 9:30 until 10:15 am. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, followed by The Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
