

Robert L. Wagner, Sr. age 88 of Bristol Township, joined his precious wife, Marie in heaven on Thursday, June 26, 2014. Born and raised in Manyunk, PA, Mr. Wagner was a graduate of Roxborough High School. He was an original Levittown, Bristol Township homeowner and was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish. Until his retirement in 1990, Bob was the owner/operator of Wagners' Texaco on Route 13 and Haines Road for 38 years, which was the first Texaco Full Service Station in Levittown. He served as a Navy Corpsman with the 2nd Marine Division during World War II and also served as a Corpsman at the Philadelphia Navy Yard during the Korean War. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the Fairless Hills B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 2023. Being an avid Phillies fan, Bob loved baseball and also had the greatest love for playing and watching golf. His family meant the world to him and is known to everyone as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Glidden), his parents, William and Olive (Hill), Wagner, his siblings, William (Mary), Olive Boone (Ed), and Donald. His pride and joy was his family. Loving father to District Judge, Robert L. Wagner, Jr and his wife Maryann of Fairless Hills, William W. Wagner also of Fairless Hills, Marie Zadareky and her husband, John of Fallsington and Kevin P. Wagner and his wife Margaret of Levittown. He is also the proud grandfather to: Lisa Farrell (Drew), Robert III (Lori), Jaclyn, William, Jr., Angela Pollio (Tom), Jarrod Eisenhauer (Bridget), Kevin, Jr., Michael Zadareky, Jeffrey, Matthew and Rachael Wagner. Great-Grandfather to Ian, Gwenn, Gina, Raelyn, Brayden and one on the way. He will also be greatly missed by a sister-in-law in Illinois and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8:15 until 9:15 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 5201 Emilie Rd., Levittown. Rite of Committal will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
