
Ronald E. Lapinski Ronald E. Lapinski died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Kindred Hospital, Philadelphia, after a long illness. He was 70. Born in Shamokin, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Shalonis) Lapinski, he had resided in Mount Carmel in his early years. He had resided in Falls Township since 1965. Mr. Lapinski was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills and Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215. He was a foreman in the Blast Furnace for USX Steel, Fairless Works for over 30 years. He was then employed as a security guard for the IRS in Northeast Philadelphia, until he retired. Mr. Lapinski was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post 834 in Fallsington. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and the scratch off lottery cards. Beloved husband of the late Cynthia Ann (Staskiel), Mr. Lapinski was the loving father of Colette Lapinski-Bull of Collegeville, Lori Lapinski of Fairless Hills and Shelly Lapinski of Philadelphia. He was the proud grandfather of Anthony, who resided with him, Jordan, Nicholas and Greg, Jr. Mr. Lapinski was the brother of Jean Petruskevich and the late Joseph Lapinski. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Services and interment were held privately.
