Rosario Joseph DaLessio

It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of Rosario “Ross” Joseph DaLessio on Tuesday June 10, 2025. He was called up to be with the lord after a short but courageous battle. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Rosario DaLessio and Irene (Benichuk) DaLessio. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, John DaLessio.

Ross was a devoted police officer to the Morrisville Police department for 40 years serving his community throughout multiple roles before officially retiring in 2017. Ross enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City or the local casino with his wife, Cheryl of 39 years. They often enjoyed weekend trips to the casino or occasionally Las Vegas. Ross also enjoyed visiting the local gun ranges with his three children, late night grocery store shopping and watching old-movies.

He is survived by three children: Leia (DaLessio) Hyjurick, Fiancé of Joseph O’Driscoll, Joseph DaLessio and Michael DaLessio, all of Levittown, PA, Four grandchildren: Bryan and Brooke (Hyjurick) and Connor and Anna (O’Driscoll). He is also survived by his remaining sibling who loved him dearly, Irene Minucci, wife of Danny Toms River, NJ.

Services will be held privately.
