Sabina Teresa Gallo

“Sibby”, as she was known to her friends and family, was born in Brooklyn NY on February 13, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rose DiSciullo and sister to the late Constantino DiSciullo (Theresa, also deceased).

In 1947 she married Benedict Gallo and though they divorced after 30 years, they remained friends for the remainder of his life.

She was the beloved Mother of Concetta Gorski (John), Victor Gallo (Mona), Rosemarie Rosenberg (Joel). She was the loving grandmother of Dominic Bentivoglio (Jacqueline), Andrew and Jena Gallo, Jarad and Rachel Rosenberg, Nicole Crisp and Justin Crisp (Lauren) and Dana Smith (Scott).

She was the loving Great grandmother to Madalen and Vero Bentivoglio, Sophia Kerins, Julia and Scott Smith and Makayla Crisp. Loving aunt to Paul Gallo (Susan), Joanne Gallo, Teresa Nuzzo, James Gallo, Richard Gallo (Leslyn) and Ralph DiSciullo.

Sibby loved all animals and was predeceased by her cat and warm companion, Scocina.

Sibby worked for Pomeroy’s Dept Store in the credit office in progressively increasing positions of responsibility until she retired as the credit manager. Also, during this time, she attended Business Management courses at Bucks County Community College.

Sibby loved to sing and was a member of the Levittown Opera Company in her early days in Levittown, she loved music and dancing. She enjoyed playing cards with family, and friends, she belonged to 2 senior clubs, Levittown Seniors and SJW seniors for many years. She also loved traveling and going to the casinos whenever possible.

She was a lifelong member of St Michael the Archangel Parish.

Sibby will always be remembered for her grace, kindness and her humble generous spirit. She treated everyone with respect and always had a huge smile for everyone she met. She was a bright light in the world.

Family and friends are invited to visit and attend Mass on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:50 am with Mass following at 10:00 am, at St Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem PA 19020.
