Samuel L. Davis, age 93, of Levittown, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Davis was an original homeowner in Levittown. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1944; and he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1947. Mr. Davis maintained a Professional Engineer's License in the State of New Jersey. He taught at Mercer County Vo-Tech Adult Evening School, which he has done since 1979.Beloved husband of the late Ethel L. (Van Horn), Mr. Davis is the loving father of two daughters: Mary Ann MacKenzie and her husband, Ross, and Katherine Carter and her husand, Edmond.He will also be sadly missed by five grandchildren, David MacKenzie (Katie), Christopher Carter (Jennifer), Allison MacKenzie Hunter (Bradley), Michael Carter (Jessica) and Elizabeth Jones ( Jeffrey) and great grandchildren, Gregor and Deacon, Maryn, Kylie and Brayden, Wyatt and Colton, and Izzy.Services and interment will be held privately.Memorial contributions in Mr. Davis' name may be made to Women's Humane Society of Bucks County, 3839 Richlieu Road, PO Box 1470, Bensalem, PA 19020.
