Sheridan Goodwill

Sheridan F. Goodwill died on Friday, August 30, 2013 at his home. He was 81. Born in Oil City, PA, he has been a resident of Falls Township since 1968 and was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington. He was employed with T.W.A. for 25 years until retiring in 1994. Mr. Goodwill proudly served his county as a member of the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the John Billington VFW Post #6495, the American Legion Post #317, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #2489 and the NRA. Mr. Goodwill was the beloved husband of Leona E. (Elder) for 57 years. He was the loving father Susan Walker of North Carolina, Elizabeth Stackpole, her husband Dowell of Texas, Kathryn Stough, her husband Mark, Richard Goodwill, his wife Kathleen, Jean Perrone, her husband Louis and Kimberly Goodwill, her husband Philip Nemeth all of Pennsylvania. He will also be sadly missed by 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his sister Mercedes Larson of New York and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 9172 New Falls Rd., Fallsington where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 117, PO Box 1651, Levittown, PA 19057.
