Just saw on line that Steve had passed away.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and family.  Many good memories of family vacations together when we were young.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of your passing. Little did I know when I took a job with the railroad you would become my teacher, my coworker and most importantly my friend. I will remember the good times we had camping, the all-nighters with you and Debi on the deck and our stops at the Italian Club and Valley Forge. I thought we would have more time. I love you and I miss you.

I’m Steve’s sister in law and there’s a lot of memories I have with him.  He came to Virginia/DC to stay with Bob and I while Bob was still in the Marine Corp, we had a lot of good times going to Village Inn for pizza and beer along with a DJ playing oldies.  One of the best was when the DJ PLAYED “sitting on the dock of the bay” by Otis Redding.  One of Steve’s favorites, he’d get up and start singing and dancing to the song and every time it came on even when we were all at their moms house, he’d do the same! So many great memories in Virginia with Steve, he’d run around with our group (bunch of Marines).  There’s too many good times to mention, but I’ve known Steve since 1974.  He will be truly missed…..love you Steve! ❤️

I will always remember our family parties, and back yard bbqs. We had a lot of fun growing up. 

There was so many times you would come over and visit my mom and I. Those times I will never forget.  You helped me through the worse time of my life, yet we were able to laugh and smile.   I will forever be grateful. You will be very missed! I love you forever and always!

I am still in shock that my Uncle Steve is no longer here. It just doesn’t feel real. However…a memory I will hold near to my heart is from many, many years ago. I was a little girl when he came to me to talk. It’s one of the few times he opened up and gave advice. That moment stayed with me. I didn’t understand at that point in my life everything he was sharing till I got older…then  got it. It helped. Also, it was nice to know I wasn’t alone. I never did tell him I remembered that day and how much it meant to me. I hope he knows now. So here’s to you Uncle Steve…thank you for the random advice you would share. Love you greatly.

Life was never easy for Steve.  But the time that he had, he sure made the best of it. He loved hunting, camping and his family!  A total shock!  You will be missed brother!  Love you.
