Thomas Snell

Thomas Snell Thomas Snell passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Aria Health Bucks Campus. He was 73. Born in Hazleton, Mr. Snell was formerly of NE Philadelphia and has been a resident of Levittown since 1983. Mr. Snell last worked in the recreation department at Burlington Woods Convalescent Center for several years. He was a US Army veteran and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War from 1964-66. Mr. Snell was a musician and was the lead guitarist with Joe Marlowe and the Revisers for many years. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling. Mr. Snell looked forward to the family trips to Busch Gardens and weekly flea market trips. He loved his 5 cats. Beloved husband of 43 years to Jean D. (Searles), Mr. Snell is the loving father of Thomas C and Steven M. Snell. His is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan, Mary, Steven II, Stefanie, and their mother, Jennifer. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Snell was predeceased by his parents; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers all from the Hazleton Area. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Doughery Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. at the above address.
