Vincent "Vince" William DeAntoniis

Vincent “Vince” DeAntoniis passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and kindness. A long-time resident of Feasterville, Vince was known for his passion for birdwatching, his love of sports, and his unwavering commitment to volunteering at the Churchville Nature Center.

Born to Vincent and Emma DeAntoniis, Vince was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School. He served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Army. After returning home, he worked with PECO, dedicating his time and talents to his work and his community. After retiring from PECO, Vince did pool services with his buddy Jason.

Vince’s love for nature and the outdoors was evident in his many years of leading Saturday morning bird walks at the Churchville Nature Center. He had an unmatched ability to make everyone feel welcome, always ready to share his knowledge with newcomers to the birding group. He had a deep appreciation for the beauty in the world around him, often pausing in the middle of a conversation just to point out a bird soaring by.

Beyond his passion for birds, Vince enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He had a keen sense of humor and could light up any room with his infectious smile and hearty laugh. His friends knew him for his excellent skills at pinochle, often leaving his partner in a state of surprise at his unmatched ability to play. Vince also loved reading (history) books and watching Dr. Pol marathons.

Vince’s love of life was only rivaled by his dedication to helping others, whether through his volunteer work or his kindness to everyone he met. He leaves behind a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he so deeply loved.

A devoted husband and father, he shared a loving 45-year marriage with his wife, Diane before her passing. He is also predeceased by his parents Vincent DeAntoniis and Emma DeAntoniis (nee Marcucci).

Vince is survived by his children Stefanie Lomax (Dan) and Vincent DeAntoniis, his sister Emily Little (nee DeAntoniis), his nephews David and Edward Little, and his niece Kristen Nolan (nee Little).

A viewing for Vince will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, with a military honors at 7:00 PM and a time of sharing following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Churchville Nature Center in Vince's memory.
