William P. Paton, of Fairless Hills, died on Friday, December 14, 2012 at his home. He was 83. Born in Ridgewood, NY, Mr. Paton was a longtime resident of Middle Village, Queens, NY prior to moving to Fairless Hills in 1999. He worked for the New York City Police Department for 40 years until retiring as a detective in 1991. His favorite hobby was singing and for many years he was the director of Jamaica Queensmen, a barbershop chorus group in Jamaica, NY. Mr. Paton was the beloved husband of the late Lucille A. He was the loving father of Luanne Loniak (James) of New Windsor, NY; Denise Bergman (Dr. Frank) of Fairless Hills; and Joanna Bartulovich (Stephen) of Phillipsburg, NJ. He will also be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren, Andrew Loniak (Mary), Dianna Knight (Richard); Alyssa Bergman; Christian and Caroline Bartulovich; 1 great granddaughter Emmeline Bartulovich and his sister Janice Wisniewski (Tom). Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 11:30 am until the time of his funeral service which will be held at 12:30 p.m., at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
