

Bill was a long time resident of Trenton before moving to Levittown in the early 1990's. He was employed with Community Options in Princeton for many years before going to work for Ewing Cemetery.
He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church and then St. Mark's Church where he was a member of the Bell Choir and enjoyed singing.
A social butterfly, Bill made many friends throughout his life. He enjoyed playing cards and especially loved spending time with his granddaughter.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen; his parents, Ludwig and Elizabeth Simon; and his brother, James J. Simon.
He is survived by his loving daughter and her husband, Deborah and Jason Smith; his granddaughter, Kayla Marie Smith; his sister and her husband, Judith and Gene Myers; nieces and nephews, Jason Myers (Karen), Jillian Oliveri (Jesse) and Melissa Hicks (Michael); great nieces and nephews, Ryan, Elizabeth and Colby, as well as many cousins and friends.
Bill's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 26th at Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
