William J. Giannamore, Sr.William J. Giannamore, Sr. died peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was 74.Born and raised in Donora, PA, Mr. Giannamore moved to the Levittown area at the age of 19 and began working at US Steel Fairless Works, as a Stock Yard Crane Operator. He remained working there for 30 years up until the closing of the Mill.He enjoyed bowling for many years with his co-workers from US Steel.Mr. Giannamore was predeceased by his parents, Beatrice (Vigilotti) and Joseph Giannamore and his wife, Lillian.He is survived by his wife of just over one year, Mildred A. (Popchoke); his son, William J. Jr. (RIta); daughter, Lori; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sisters, Janet Pfeister (Larry) and Jean Rossini: (late Donner) and brother-in-law, Jim Mervin (Judith).Services and interment will be held privately.
