Alfred J. Bissonnette

Lewiston - Alfred J. Bissonnette 85, formerly of 1211 Sabattus St. died Wednesday July 27, 2011 at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion. Born in Lewiston November 7, 1925 a son of the late Napoleon and Alice Gauthier Bissonnette, he was educated in Lewiston schools. Mr. Bissonnette was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul and worked for 44 years at Bates Mfg. Co. at the Hill and Bates Division. He was a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizen, Horizon 55 and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his niece, Suzanne B. Csoros and husband Peter J. Csoros of Minot, nephews, Arthur L. Bissonnette and wife Donna (McCann) of Bucksport, Richard R. Bissonnette and wife Deborah (Begin) of Auburn, Donald N. Bissonnette and wife Bonnie (Clark) of Waterville and several great nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a sister Carmen E. Bissonnette and a brother Arthur Bissonnette. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Lamp Alzheimer's Residential Care Facility, St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion and Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care of Alfred.
