

SAN DIEGO, CA - Annette (Lamore) Page, 63, of the Lewiston-Auburn area, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 25 in San Diego, California. She lived at the Esplanade at 20 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn. She died in San Diego, California from complications of pneumonia with her daughter and grandchildren by her side and following a long battle with emphysema. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on May 18th, 1945, the daughter of Leo and Theresa (Blanchette) Lamore. She had been a resident of the Lewiston-Auburn community all of her life. Annette graduated from Edward Little High School in 1963 and worked in the shoe industry for a short time until she chose to undertake the more important role as wife and devoted stay-at-home mom.Over the years, her generous maternal spirit extended to many others, including her grandchildren who were the joy of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Page) Royea and her husband, John, of San Diego, Ca; a son, Jeffrey Page of Mechanic Falls; her mother, Theresa Lamore of Auburn; three sisters, Rita James and husband, Ronald, of Wales, Anita Guay of Auburn, and Carmen Castonguay and husband, Richard, of Durham, and a brother, Paul and his wife, Anne, of Monmouth; her grandchildren Tyler,Chelsea, and Ethan Poli of San Diego, several nieces and nephews;special friends Mitch and Margo Mercier. She is predeceased by her father and her brother, Jerry who passed away last December. Throughout the years, Annette enjoyed traveling the country with her family and especially enjoyed family gatherings. Known fondly as "Mumzy" by many, she took great pleasure in attending her son's sporting events from grade school through the adult leagues. She adored spoiling her son's dogs over the years. Although she enjoyed dining out, she was also a phenomenal cook (especially her meatballs). Watching reality television and Jeopardy! Were among some of her favorite past times, as well as spending many afternoons playing "Scat" with her mother, her children, and even her grandchildren. Annette's sense of humor, strength, and generosity in her heart of gold will live on in the memories she created for her family and friends PAGE died in San Diego, CA, February 25, 2009.
