

GREENE - C. Jean Lajoie, 62, a resident of 16 Gibbs Lane, Greene died Tuesday, January 2nd unexpectedly at her residence. She was born in Salem, Massachusetts, August 14, 1944, the daughter of Raymond and Emily (Macomber) Butler. She grew up in Ft. Myers, FL, and graduated from Ft. Myers High School in 1962. She then moved north to attend the Central Maine General School of Nursing where she graduated in 1965. Following her schooling, she worked for Dr. Drouin and Dr. Sanford as an RN. She then worked as an RN for 25 years at St. Mary's Hospital retiring in July 2005.She was a member of MSGNA and the Red Hat Society. Survivors include two sons, Michael Lajoie and his wife, Gretchen of Gardiner; Richard and his wife, Linda of Mechanic Falls; one sister, Maureen of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Dylan and Cullen Lajoie; three step grandchildren, Dustin, Adam, and Mandy. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Gregory as well as two brothers and one sister. LAJOIE died in Greene, January 2, 2007, C. Jean lajoie age 62 years a resident of 16 Gibbs Lane, Greene. A Celebration of Jean's Life will be held TUESDAY 1:00PM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Chaplain Kathleen O'Wril presiding.A private burial will be held in the spring.
