

She was born May 7, 1923, in Auburn, Maine, to Arthur and Leda Labbay, one of six children.
Charlotte attended Holy Cross and Bliss Business schools before starting her career at Bates Textile Mill, the first of many positions in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
She married Armand Landry in April 1947 after his return from World War II. Together, they raised their six children. Her love for children was evidenced by opening her heart and home to three foster children.
Early in their marriage, they owned a farm in Minot, Maine. Charlotte enjoyed sharing stories about her life experiences and her time as a farm wife and mother.
Charlotte was a devout Catholic and relied on her faith throughout her life. She loved learning and was an avid reader, especially poetry and history. She was an accomplished knitter. She enjoyed traveling around the country to visit with her family.
She is survived by her children, Marcel and wife, Maureen, of San Leon, Texas; Patrick and wife, Susan, of Bucksport, Maine; Michel and wife, Dorothy, of Front Royal, Virginia; Giles and wife, Carole, of Bowdoin, Maine; Steve and wife, Marcy, of Wales, Maine; and Joy and husband, John, Johnson of Bowdoin Maine; as well as Judith and husband, Darrell, Faldyn of Bellville, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, and 2 foster children, Donald and Thelma Bourget

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 11 am at Holy Family Church, Sabattus St. Lewiston, ME.
