

LEWISTON: Christine Louise Marin, 68, of Lewiston passed away peacefully Friday at Montello Manor in Lewiston. She was born on October 24, 1945 in Waterville, a daughter of the late Ira and Annie (Quimby) Armour. She grew up in the Waterville area and attended local schools there. After high school, Christine worked for various shoe factories and mills as a manufacturer. During that time she was married to her late husband Rosaire Marin. She was a member of the Lady of St. Anne Society as well as the Ultrea Movement. She had a fond interest in dolls and enjoyed collecting them. Christine is survived by her children; David Stone and his wife Christina of Hampden, ME, Sarah Lee Fisher and Joseph Duprey both of Connecticut; step-children, Bonnie Taylor, Nanette Couture, Cynthia Poulin, and Russell Marin. She also leaves behind two sisters, Carol Zachary and her husband Robert of Benton, ME and Virginia of Lewiston, as well as three grandchildren; Davey Stone and Daniel and Robert Fisher. FUNERAL NOTICE:
MARIN---Christine L., age 68, of Lewiston died Friday September 26 at Montello Manor. Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Friday October 3 at Fortin\Lewiston followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 11am also at the funeral home. Committal prayers will take place following the service at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
