Doris O. Labbe

1923 - 2012

Lewiston- Doris O. Labbe 88, of Auburn, died Friday January 26, 2012 after a brief stay at d'Youville Pavilion Rehab Center. She was born in Lewiston on November 15, 1923 a daughter of the late Demetrius and Marie (Robitaille) Ouellette. She was educated in local schools.

Doris married the love of her life Leo D. Labbe in 1946. She worked for over 43 years at Bates Mill as a stitcher. She was a member of Holy Cross Church. Doris enjoyed jig saw puzzles, playing cards, and going out to eat. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She leaves two sons Maurice Labbe and his wife Jane of Frederick MD, and Marc Labbe of Auburn, a son in law Bert Levesque of Santa Rosa CA, 6 grandchildren: Bert Levesque of CA, Karyn Levesque of CA, Karla Brior of CO, Steven Levesque of CA, Michael Labbe of MA and Laura Czarnecki of MD, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her daughter Louise Levesque and all her siblings.

Funeral Notice-

Labbe, Doris O. 1/26/2012 At Doris' request there will be no visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 Am at Holy Cross Church.
