Lewiston - Florence B. (Roux) Boulet passed peacefully into the care of our God on the evening of October 15th at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion. She was the daughter of George and Regina Roux. A loving and devoted wife and mother, she was educated in Lewiston schools and married Laurier (Larry) Boulet on June 24, 1961. Together, they raised three children: James, Linda, and Steven. Florence was a skilled bookkeeper, having worked at several prominent businesses including Ward Bros., Twin City fruit, Vincent Fruit, and St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, retiring as the bookkeeper at Holy Family Church. While she worked outside of the home for most of her adult life, her true passion was devotion to her husband and children. Until the time of Larry’s passing in 2021, she was his primary caretaker for nearly ten years following his stroke. The story of her life would be incomplete without mention of her deep devotion to her faith, having prayed the rosary daily for her family. Survivors include James and his wife Nicole (Duchette), Linda Lacombe and her husband, Michael, and Steven and his wife Lisa (Doyon) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one remaining sibling, Yvonne Roux. The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the 3-East staff at d’Youville Pavilion who took care of Florence for the past three years and to the Andwell hospice staff who assisted in making her final days comfortable. A final debt of gratitude is owed to her sister, Yvonne and her niece Terry Trepanier who visited with mom regularly, assisting her in her final days.
