

Lewiston- Francis "Frank" Brooks 80, of Nob Hill Ave. died Wednesday April 24, 2013 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center with his loving family at his side. He was born in Lewiston on November 30, 1932 a son of the late Napoleon and Juliette (Bussiere) Brooks. He was educated in local schools. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army, then went on to serve in the National Guard. He married the love of his life, Dolores Charpentier on June 28, 1952. Frank worked for many years and retired from BIW as a pipe fitter. Frank was a member of Holy Family Church, where he was a longtime member of The Knights of Columbus, as a 4th degree knight and he was also part of the honor guard. He enjoyed playing on his computer, watching tv, photography, hunting and fishing. He leaves his wife of 60 years Dolores "Del" Brooks of Lewiston, a son Dominique Brooks and wife Yvonne of Connor Twn, two daughters Rejeanne Basselet and husband Guy of Norway and Joline Griffin and husband Brett of Durham, two brothers Henry Brooks and wife Rita of Lewiston and Louis Brooks of Turner, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation Fortin Lewiston Friday 6-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 11 AM at Holy Family Church. Committal will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
