Germaine Morissette

She worked in the shoe shops and fabric mills of Lewiston for many years as well as being a loving mom and caregiver.

She is survived by her six sons & spouses, one daughter, 16 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Armand J. Morissette, whom she wed on June 28, 1958 and several brothers & sisters.

Her passions were knitting, playing cards (Big Bertha), preparing meals for family and friends (Memere's Soup), praying the Rosary and lighting candles for all in need, as well as spending time with loved ones. She was known for donating her knitted mittens to the local schools for many years. Her life and love for family and God will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed with the presence of the Lords Angel Germaine in their lives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group on

305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St, Lewiston. Committal Prayers will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to a charity of choice.
