Henry N. Tukey

Lewiston- Henry N. Tukey, Jr. of New Gloucester, ME and Titusville, FL, died September 20, 2010 at Central Maine Medical Center. Born August 11, 1927 in Portland, Me. The son of H. Newhall Tukey and Marion LeGrow Tukey. He graduated from Deering High School and immediately joined the Navy V-5 Flight Training Program. He was also a 1950 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. Upon graduation from College he joined The Pineland Lumber Co. of Lewiston, ME and became its chairman and principal owner till his semi-retirement at the end of 1993. He was a member of various Masonic Orders and was a Past Master of Tranquil Lodge #29 and a Past Most Wise Master of H.H. Dickey Chapter of Rose Croix. He was also a member of Kora Shrine Temple of Lewiston. He was a long time Director of the Auburn Savings and Loan Association. He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. Tukey and three children, Terry Santos of Falls Church, VA , Bruce Tukey and his wife Cheryl of Auburn, ME, Janet Eastman and her husband Bruce of Jay, ME, A step son Shawn and His wife Emmie of Auburn and four grandchildren, Kristen Marks of Pensacola, FI, Laura Tukey of Auburn, ME, Mason and Kendra Jones of Auburn, ME, two great grandchildren Jillian Marks and Andrew Marks of Pensacola, FL and one sister, Elizabeth T.
