

She was educated in Lewiston schools as well as Holy Family and graduated from Lewiston class of 1953. She attended Gorham College Dental School upon graduation she was employed by Dr. Fred DiBello, then Jobs Corps and later retired from Tambrands after 28 years. She was married to an Arthur Murray dance instructor. Together they were in many exhibitions in the local studio and Eastland Hotel in Portland.
As the last of her age group, she was the last connection to her only niece and nephews who had lost their own parents from that time. Her life was filled with joy as well as challenges and she met them with both common sense and courage. One of her mottos was “Tomorrow will be better.”
In her free time, she traveled to many areas of Canada, Spain, Africa, the Bahamas and many day trips with her friends. She enjoyed her Red Hat luncheons and activities with friends, exercise classes with flex with Linn and spent a lot of time at Seniors Plus attending different presentations. She also enjoyed many years at the weekly weight watchers’ meetings. She was an avid cook and baker. She loved to watch Hallmark, TCM movies, PBS and food channels.
She is survived by her niece Cheri and her husband Tony Andrews; nephews Shaun and Linda Fecteau, Blake and Louise Fecteau, John and Kelly Clements, Mark and Carol Morin and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents; her only brother Raymond Fecteau; and only sister Liette Morin.
