Lewiston-Jeanne LaChance of Lewiston died peacefully at her home on June 8, 2011 with family by her side. Born on August 5, 1922 the daughter of Jerimie and Laura (Beaudette) Labbe. She owned and operated Jeanne’s Beauty Salon in Lisbon for many years. She leaves behind her daughter, Doris St. Laurent and her husband Conrad, her two granddaughters; Claire St. Laurent and Ann Footer, two great-grandchildren; Christopher Footer and Alicia Footer all of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her husband Maurice “Lefty” LaChance who died on May 1, 1994, her sister Cecile Labbe Poirier and her brothers Armand “Bill” Labbe and Roland Labbe.
