

TURNER - Kathy J. Chan, 57, of Oakwood Drive, Turner died Wednesday unexpectedly after a long illness at her home. Born in Waterville, October 18, 1950, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (McGraw) Wells, Jr. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield from the Class of 1969. She worked in Turner at the Big Apple as the deli manager for 13 years. She liked Bingo, watching the Rowe's father and son team of Turner car racing. Also she was an all around avid sport's enthusiest. Survivors include her mother, Mary Knights of Fairfield; one daughter, Shilo and her husband, Lorien Mathieu of Greene; one son, Kellen Chan and his wife Rebecca of Greene; one brother, Stanley Wells III and his wife, Christine of Fredericksburg, VA; one sister, Cindy Eames of Waterville; two granddaughters, Ashley and Colleen Mathieu of Greene; several nieces and nephews; one step brother, Leland Knights, Jr; and one step sister, Sherry Carter both of Florida. She was predeceased by a son, Justin Chan in 1991. CHAN died in Turner, September 24, 2008, Mrs. Kathy J. Chan age 57 years a resident of Turner. Funeral services honoring Kathy's life will be celebrated SATURDAY 9:00AM at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Revereand Antonio Amato presiding.
