

LEWISTON - Kenneth R. Cascadden, Jr., 68, a resident of Lewiston passed away early Sunday morning at his home with his loving daughter by his side. He was born in Lewiston, September 24, 1938 the son of of Kenneth R. and Geneva Cascadden, Sr. Ken had lived both in Auburn and Lewiston and was a graduate of ELHS. Ken worked in area shoe shops then met the love of his life, Jane Colby. He then was employed for over 20 years at Hall & Knight in Lewiston, and more recently at Russell Park Rehab and Living Center for six years until he had a stroke in March 2005. His hobbies included the Red Sox, war movies, reading, and friends, and spending time with his beloved daughter, Lisa and his grandson Shawn until his death on September 11, 2004. He also enjoyed his cats, Simba, Odie, and Mr. Whoops. He also played softball for the LA Kings, and was a coach for many years. His uniform number was 22 which represented his daughter's birthday. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Fitzsimons and husband, Danny of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents and grandson, Shawn Fitzsimons, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. CASCADDEN died in Lewiston, September 16, 2007, Mr. Kenneth R. Cascadden, Jr., age 68 years a resident of Lewiston. Ken's wishes were not to have any services.
