AUBURN: Lauretta A. Campbell, 85, of Auburn peacefully passed away on Monday August 31, 2020 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Lewiston on July 14, 1935 the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Roux) Dubois. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1953.
After high school Lauretta worked in accounting. During that time she met and married James Campbell on September 24, 1955 at St. Louis Church in Auburn and they started a family together.
Lauretta will always be remembered for her love of bowling, camping, square dancing with James, going to church and spending quality time with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Jellison of Auburn, her two grandchildren; Julie Williams and Janet (Camire) Hull, her great-grandchildren, her great-great granddaughter, Penelope and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, James, a son-in-law, David Jellison, her three brothers, Joseph, Roger and Roland, her two sisters, Germaine and Rita.

At this time, there are no services and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston. Arrangements are under the care of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services 70 Horton St. Lewiston, 784-4584.
