Lorraine G. Dionne, 88, formerly of 77 Birch Street, Lewiston Maine, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Fallbrook Woods Resident Care in Portland, Maine with her family by her side. Born in Auburn November 28, 1929, the daughter of Eugene and Ida Blais Dionne. She was educated in Lewiston Schools and worked at Clark Shoe for 22 years, Arrow-Hart Mfg. for 10 years and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in housekeeping until her retirement.
Miss Dionne was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul. She was a person of great faith and lived her life serving others. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, and going on long walks. She will be remembered for her Lamey Welleham Shoe Clubs, baking breads for family and friends, her kind, loving heart, and for always taking care of and helping anyone who needed her.
Survivors include her sister Pauline Collet of Lewiston, and many nieces and nephews that were very dear to her. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Ella Martel and Rita Robert and her brother Roland Dionne.
A special thank you to her niece Linda Ouellette and grand niece Jessica Walling for their strong advocacy; fierce love and tireless devotion. The family wishes to thank Fallbrook Woods, Payson Nursing, and Hospice of Southern Maine.

Visitation Fortin / Lewiston Tuesday July 31st 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday August 1st , 2018 at 11:00 am at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. (Lower chapel)
