

Lewiston- Margaret M. "Peggy" Pomerleau 82, formerly of East Ave. Died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on her birthday August 1, 2013 at Marshwood following a brief illness. She was born in Lewiston on August 1, 1931 a daughter of the late Wallace and Clara (Hogue) Tierney. Peggy married the love of her life Marcel P. Pomerleau at St. Joseph's Church on June 30, 1951. He predeceased her in February 2008. Peggy was a homemaker not only to her children but to all she knew. She had lots of love and shared it with everyone. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Lewiston. She enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, and watching the Red Sox, She also loved spending time with family and friends. She leaves a daughter Mary Bailey and husband Scott of Westbrook, a son Steven Pomerleau and companion Mary Lou Shook of PA, a granddaughter Jennifer Pomerleau, a special sister Katherine Rand, and a special sister in law Arlene Tierney both of Lewiston, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Ann Bigly and two brothers John and Thomas Tierney.
