I am sorry for your loss on this eart, but I know she was welcomed into Heaven. She accepted Jesus is her heart as her saviour. I was related to Terry St Pierre, and cleaned for her. She asked if I could also clean for Jean Beaudoin & Marie Gagnon. So I started once a month cleaning for both of them. I would come from Topsham, and after a while, I would treat Marie to lunch, and enjoyed the fellowship. Then go to visit Jean at the Barker Arms. Marie & I enjoyed trying out the different restaurants, and eating too much. Then I would take her home, and clean for her. We prayed for 2 years for her to get into Great Falls Plaza Apts, and for the sale of her home. Got answered our prayers. And she enjoyed living @ Great Falls Apts, with her balcony view of everything. When she found out she had cancer, She just thanked God that she had lived to be 89 years old with good health. She was very special friend, and I will miss my lunch partner in Auburn. God Bless her family!

To all of Marie's family and friends I would like to tell you that Marie played a very special roll in the lives of my grandfather, Alfonse Theberge, Normand and Carmel Theberge, all my brothers and sisters and myself. Marie was my grandfathers secretary at Theberge Sewing Machine Co. For all the years we had Marie and Roland in our life they filled the roll of friend to the adults and Aunt to us kids. We spent hours/years at their house:sitting on the porch/playing Roland's organ/playing with their poodle dog. She gave us so much love and attention that any little child needed. The last time she came to my home in Auburn, Maine, Marie still displayed so much warmth in her greeting... it was a joy to see and talk to her. My Aunt Jeannette (her neighbor) especially loved her friendship as they spent many years going places and doing things together. She was a wonderful confidant to my mother, Carmel, who looked to her solid counsel on many occasions. To all of you on the West Coast, I'm sorry that you didn't get to have Marie close to you through the years except by phone. She was great fun to be around. I will always hold fond memories of her spirit in my thoughts.

Marie was a "class act" as my husband put it. She was a very good friend to my mother in her later years and she and Roland were friends of my parents for years before that. She was always ready to go out to lunch with me except when her beloved Red Sox were on TV or when she had to play cards with the girls. My deepest regret is that I did not make the time to see her more in the last couple of years. I will truly miss her.

Marie is such a gentle soul and will be missed beyond words. Our family known as the "Jetsons" to Marie and Roland, loved them as family. We spent many a wonderful time at their home as we grew up. What special memories we will keep in our hearts.

My sincere condolences on the passing of such a warm, kind, and caring woman I was priviledged to have known. I will always cherish the times we spent with Mo-ree, as my brother Christopher and I pronounced her name when we were kids. Very fond memories of eating popsicles on the porch, listening to Roland tell stories, playing with Alphee, and hearing Marie and my dad Bill banter back and forth. She was always present at whatever functions we had for my great-grandmother Cecile Metayer. We always included Marie as family, and she will forever hold a special place inside my heart.
