Mary Ann Fontaine

LEWISTON- Mary Ann Giguere Fontaine, 56, of Livermore Falls, passed away on Monday April 15, 2013 at her parents home surrounded by her family. Mary Ann Giguere Fontaine was born in Lewiston on September 27, 1956. Mary Ann attended schools in Monmouth and was employed for many years as a debt collector for various agencies. Mary Ann married Raymond J. Fontaine of Livermore Falls on June 19, 1998. They were married almost fifteen years. Mary Ann also wrote and published five Maine cook books and loved collecting cook books and trying new recipes. She loved spending time with her family and friends and she was always there whenever anybody needed her. She is survived by her husband Raymond J. Fontaine of Livermore Falls; one son Michael Houghton and his fiancée Nicole Massat and step-granddaughter Annabelle; her parents Guy and Jacqueline Giguere of Lewiston; one brother John Giguere of Lewiston; one sister Renee (Giguere) Castonguay and her husband Gary Castonguay of Sabattus; one niece Ashley Giguere of Lewiston; and one nephew Hunter Castonguay of Sabattus. A Memorial Mass honoring Mary Ann’s life will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Committal services will be held later in the spring at Broadview Cemetery.
