She was born in Lincoln June 13, 1988 the daughter of James C. Fritz and Geraldine Thompson.
Mary completed her GED at Penobscot Job Corps where she enjoyed the happiest times in her life where she also developed lifelong friends. Her hobbies included photography and cooking.
Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Thompson of Poland, her two stepfathers, Stanley Henderson of Powderly, Kentucky, and David Merrill of Poland; three brothers, Gregory and Franklin Smart both of Lincoln, and Angus Smart of Poland; one sister Rebecca Henderson of Poland as well as a special niece, Elizabeth Smart, and a special nephew Gregory Smart, Jr.

A Memorial Gathering honoring Mary’s life will be held WEDNESDAY July 2nd at the Minot Corner Church from 6:30-8:30PM.
Burial will be private at the Highland Cemetery in Poland.
