Mary A. Quimby

She was born in Bancroft, October 11, 1915, the daughter of Duncan and Alice (Reed) McKenzie.

Mary loved her children , grandchildren and her entire family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She also enjoyed visiting her hometown of Bancroft and socializing with friends and family.

Survivors include three sons, Albert and wife Pauline as well as James and wife Josie all of Florida, and Walter and wife Mary of Lewiston; and one sister, Evelyn Irish of Bancroft. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Ralph, she was predeceased by three daughters, Charlotte, Gloria, and Louise.

Mary’s family would like to thank all the nurses and staff on 4 West at d’Youville Pavilion for the wonderful care given to our mother during her stay.

Funeral services honoring Mary’s life will be celebrated THURSDAY October 9th 1:00PM at the funeral home. Graveside committal prayers to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
