She was born in Belfast, ME a daughter of the late William J. & Elizabeth K. (McCarthy) Runci. She grew up in Belfast, attending local area schools and graduated from Belfast Area High School.
Patty is survived by her three siblings Francis Runci of Brooks, ME, Donald Runci of Belfast and Martha Lewis of Bangor, ME as well as several nieces and nephews, especially Sonja Glidwell of East Grand Forks, MN, who’s favorite childhood memory of Patty was dancing to ABBA and the Beach Boys. She was also a sister of the late Michael A. Runci, who died on June 7, 1984.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Russell Park and Andwell Hospice, as well as her case worker and special friend Pauline Gendron for their care and support.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 1 - 2 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Grove Cemetery, Belfast will be private.
