

AUBURN: Paul Gerard Dufour, 65, of Turner, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Androscoggin Hospice House surrounded by many loving family members. Paul was born on May 5, 1950, the first child of the late Florian and Lillian (Dionne) Dufour. He was educated in Lewiston Schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1970. During his working career, Paul was employed as a route driver by Pepsi, Oakhurst Dairy, and Country Kitchen Bakery. In his retirement years, he worked for United Ambulance transporting patients to their appointments. He was well known for his work ethic, wonderful smile, and cooperative attitude. Paul was an avid sports fan and excellent athlete. He was passionate about golfing, hunting, and following the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. Paul gave back to the community by officiating soccer and hockey games for many years. He was a member of East Auburn Baptist Church. Family was of utmost importance to Paul. Hardly a day passed when he wasn’t with his wife, daughters, or grandchildren. Annual weeks at Eagle Lake developed memories that they all will cherish forever. Paul is survived by his wife, Linda of Turner; daughter, Tina White and husband, Leon of Turner; daughter, Lisa Beaulieu and husband, Eric of Lewiston; sister, Doris Tutlis and her husband, Joseph of Carrabassett Valley; sister, Linda Baril and her husband, Gerard of Carrabassett Valley. Grandchildren LJ, Julia, Taylor, Gavin, and Abraham White; and Marissa and Lillian Beaulieu also survive him. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held on Saturday November 28 at East Auburn Baptist Church in Auburn at 11am. Interment will take place at Gracelawn Memorial Park at a later date.
