Richard R. Gravel

Auburn - Richard R. Gravel, 68 of Lewiston passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice. He was born in Lewiston, June 16, 1944 son of Hector Gravel, Sr. and Anne (Lebel) Gravel. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed in construction. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards with his friends and attending state fairs. He is survived by his mother of Leeds; four sisters, Prudence Beaudoin and husband Paul of Sabattus, Helen Dionne of Auburn, Diane Beaulieu and husband Denis of Lewiston and Anne Johnson and husband Gregory of Leeds; two brothers, Hector Gravel, Jr. and wife Monique of Lewiston and James Gravel and wife Shelley of Locust Grove, Virginia. and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Cecile Bouchard and Delores Beliveau and a brother-in-law, Dolor Dionne. He will be missed by all.
