Richard “Dick” Guerrette died in Wales Maine on May 9th surrounded by family. He was lovingly and well cared for by his ex-wife Crystal Guerrette and her partner James Thibodeau. He was the first born to Maurice and Muriel Guerrette (Champagne). Richard was a fire fighter for 28 years for the Brunswick Naval Air Station. He served in the navy where he found his greatest achievement of Chief Petty Officer. He loved hunting and fishing. He was always outdoors and enjoying the sunshine, most often found working in his gardens. He is survived by his two daughters, Sara Caron, and Erin Descoteaux. His 5 Grand Daughters Olivia and Sophie Caron, Leah, Harper, and Hailey Descoteaux.
The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Androscoggin Home HealthCare and Hospice for all their help and care in his last weeks. They would also like to thank his sister Diane Cloutier for being there offering support and care as well. Services will be private at this time. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and hospice.
