Rita L. Paquette

LEWISTON- Rita L. (Bergeron) Paquette, 77, of Lewiston died unexpectedly on Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Central Maine Medical Center following a very short illness. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on January 27, 1933 the daughter of Alex and Demerise (Lapointe) Bergeron. She attended local schools and for many years was self-employed as a daycare provider. She also was employed in the Physical Therapy Department at CMMC before retiring. She was married to Lionel Paquette on November 25, 1954 and he died on February 26, 2010. They enjoyed 55 years together. Rita enjoyed playing cards, dice games, making puzzles and especially playing on her computer. She leaves three children Leo Paquette of Lisbon Falls, Larry Paquette of Lewiston and Rachel St. Clair and her husband Dan of Lewiston; three grandchildren Zachary Paquette of Lewiston and Alex and Nathan St. Clair of Lewiston; two brothers Gerard Bergeron and his wife Elna of Lewiston and Maurice Bergeron of Oakland, CA. Besides her husband she was predeceased by two sisters Theresa Dulac and Sister Pauline Bergeron.She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends especially her three special friends Sue James, Terry Letourneau and Yolande Caron.Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed at www.lynchbrothers.com . A Memorial service honoring Rita's life will be celebrated on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at 3:00 PM at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum. At Rita's request there will not be any visitation.
