Rita M. Wright

She was born in Lewiston on February 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Ladovic and Ida (Pelletier) Violette.

She was employed as a CNA at Good Shepherd Nursing Home & Schooner Estates for more than 30 years.

She was a past active member of the Sabattus American Legion Auxiliary Unit 135. Mom’s passion was taking care of her patients. Even after retiring, she continued to bring patients to doctor’s appointments and anything else she could do to help out. She also loved spending time with her family, phone calls from her son Mike in Florida, taking rides to the coast, crocheting and listening to music. In recent years she loved spending time with her great grandchildren, the babies could always make her smile. She also looked forward to calls from her sister, walks and talks with her friend Al and visits from her good friend Julie. She is survived by her three sons Arthur Wright and his wife Brenda of Monmouth, Philip Wright and his wife Julie of Monmouth and Michael Wright and his wife Rebecca of Live Oak, FL, a sister Theresa Beaudin of Lewiston, a brother Roland Violette and his wife Doris of Poland, five grandchildren Shawn Wright & his wife Jennifer of North Monmouth, Heidi Wheeler and her husband Ben of Waterville, Chad Wright and his wife Stephanie of Monmouth, Brandon Wright of Augusta, Arrica Wright of Brandon, FL, six great grandchildren Cody Mower, Madison Rose Wright, Isabelle Wright all of North Monmouth, Brock Wright of Augusta, Lillian Wheeler of Waterville and Kendal Wright of Monmouth, many nieces and nephews and her special neighbor & friend Al Audette. She was predeceased by her loving husband of almost 60 years Robert Wright, three brothers, Arthur Violette, Robert Violette and Roger Violette.
