

Lewiston- Robert L. Poliquin 77, of Gina St. died Saturday September 15, 2012 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born in Lewiston on August 13, 1935 a son of the late Laureat and Lucienne (Bedard) Poliquin. He was educated in local schools. Bob married the love of his life, Anita Berube on September 1, 1956. He worked for over 30 years at Diamond Phoenix as a foreman. He was a member of Holy Cross Church. Bob was Mr. Fix It and was not happy unless he had a tool in his hand and a project to do. He loved to work around his house and in his flower gardens and took great pride in how they looked. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and following them to their sporting events.
He leaves his wife of 56 years Anita Poliquin of Lewiston, a daughter Anne Marie Duncan and her husband Jimmy of Greene, two sons, Marcel Poliquin and his wife Joy of Belfair, WA and Ronald Poliquin of Lewiston, a sister in law Francois Poliquin of Lewiston, six grandchildren: Alex, Arianna, Natilee-Marie, Brittany, James, Dakota, and a great Granddaughter Anna Lee. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 11 AM at Holy Cross Church. A Graveside Committal will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
